Setting up a Bullet Journal: How to get started
The first page of a bullet journal consists of a key to the different symbols used. Ryder Carroll came up with some symbols for this which, nevertheless, are often modified. After all, it is a system that is individually adaptable.
An example for a ‘to do’ list from Carroll’s system: Normal bullet points (created automatically thanks to the dotted ruling) are used to list individual tasks. If you wish to make a ‘to do’ list for a particular day, simply list all the tasks as bullet points, one after the other.
Once a task is complete, the point becomes an ‘X’. If a specific point has to be postponed to the following day, the point becomes an arrow pointing to the right. There are lots of different ways to organise it – as individual as the Bullet Journal® user himself. For more ideas and helpful videos on the topic, please visit: www.bulletjournal.com.
